Membership

The Forum is not a traditional membership association; we are a vibrant network that is leading the field by activating the talent, resources and connections of our members in a proactive way. The Forum relies on the active participation of all of our members and leverages the skills and knowledge of each member to benefit all other Forum members and the philanthropy they support.

Member Spotlight

Animal Grantmakers

Animal Grantmakers is philanthropy’s leading affinity group for animal funders. Our members—foundations, public charities, corporate giving programs, individuals, and other philanthropists—work individually and collectively on domestic and global issues affecting all types of animals. Together, we envision a safer and kinder world for animals—and a better and more sustainable future for us all.

Where Philanthropy's Infrastructure Comes Together

In 2017, United Philanthropy Forum opened our membership to national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) for the first time, and the initial response has exceeded our expectations. Over the past two years our membership has grown from 33 regional PSOs to nearly 80 regional and national PSOs. Our network represents more than 7,000 foundations and other funders, making the Forum the largest network serving philanthropy in America.
